Why do fees vary?
The scope changes depending on the referral question. A focused evaluation for a suspected learning disorder may differ from an assessment that also needs to examine ADHD, giftedness, autism, anxiety, memory, language or other neurodevelopmental factors.
What does a psychoeducational assessment test?
Testing commonly examines reasoning, working memory, processing speed, reading, written language and mathematics. The battery should be selected to answer the referral question rather than applied identically to every student.

Is ADHD testing included?
Sometimes. ADHD assessment and psychoeducational assessment overlap, but they are not identical. When attention and executive-function concerns are significant, additional history and measures may be needed to determine whether ADHD contributes to academic difficulties.
